Hayemaker Ringstar is a joint venture between multi-time World Boxing Champion, David Haye and world renowned promoter Richard Schaefer. They have a TV rights deal with Dave at UKTV, the biggest multichannel broadcaster in the UK. The three-year deal will see five fights broadcast free of charge per year and the partnership marks an important move for Dave to continue its sports offering and wide range of programming.
Dave, the UK's most watched non-public service channel, first entered the market of live sport in January 2016, broadcasting David Haye’s highly anticipated comeback fight. The show broke network records peaking at over three million viewers, capturing 14% of the audience share making it the top non-public broadcast service programme of the day.
Haye and Schaefer want to the change history of boxing promotion. Tradtionally, the fighter has worked for the promoter, the core values of Hayemaker Ringstar will turn this on its head. They will work for the fighter. The blend of having a current professional boxer who knows how the boxing industry from the fighters’ perspective alongside the man who turned Floyd Mayweather into a household name as well as setting up and running Golden Boy Boxing make this a formidable partnership.

Haye the boxer
David Haye is a former unified cruiserweight world champion and WBA heavyweight champion. Haye’s eye-catching power and immense physical conditioning have distinguished him as one of British boxing's most celebrated and successful ring champions of the modern era. The ‘Hayemaker’ closed a record-breaking gap when he defeated Nikolai Valuev who was 11 inches and 7 stone heavier than Haye in 2009. He now wants to recapture world titles at heavyweight in an entertaining final chapter of his career.

Haye having established himself as one of the best boxers Britain has ever produced is now passing on his knowledge and expertise to the next crop of future world champions. He has joined forces with Richard Schaefer to form Hayemaker Ringstar and change the relationship fighters have with promoters. The aim is to ensure the fighter is always put first. He is dedicated to helping all of the boxers in his stable fulfil their potential inside and outside of the ring.

He is on a fast track projection to title fights after already demonstrating his capability to mix it at the highest level at the World Series of Boxing, alongside countless rounds of sparring with Anthony Joshua and several rounds with Tyson Fury and Hughie Fury to name a few.
